Where the workflow broke down.
Creative technologists and designers often struggle to showcase multidisciplinary work using standard website templates or bloated CMS builders. Generic templates lack cinematic visual depth, bespoke motion details, and flexible case-study storytelling.
The goal was to engineer a high-performance, editorial portfolio with a custom-built headless CMS and admin dashboard that enables complete control over media assets, interactive case study chapters, client lead capture, and blog publishing—all while maintaining sub-second load times and SEO rankings.

A custom full-stack web application and content management system featuring:
• Editorial HUD Interface: Bespoke typography, dynamic tracking-point overlays, HUD-inspired grid frames, and responsive bento layouts.
• Modular Case Study Engine: Multi-chapter case studies supporting high-resolution imagery, looped video assets, and PDF deliverable attachments with an integrated full-screen lightbox.
• Dedicated Admin Suite (/admin): Google OAuth protected control center for managing projects, categories, section-based media assets, rich markdown articles, and client inquiries.
• Direct ImageKit Asset Pipeline: Instant cloud uploads, real-time media transformations, and CDN distribution.
• Interactive Lead Generation & Blog: Inbuilt lead inquiry capture pipeline with spam honeypot filters and a markdown-powered publishing platform.

• Next.js 16 App Router & React 19: Built with strict TypeScript leveraging Server Components for fast initial page rendering and Server Actions for secure mutations.
• Tailored Design System: Built using Tailwind CSS v4 and vanilla CSS keyframe micro-animations without external heavy runtime dependencies.
• Data & Persistence: MongoDB & Mongoose data layer featuring soft-delete cascading, slug auto-generation, and transactional indexing.
• Asset Optimization: ImageKit integration providing dynamic image CDN resizing, format conversion (AVIF/WebP), and video delivery.
• Type Safety & Validation: Zod schemas validating every API payload and Server Action to ensure end-to-end data integrity.
